7 Bedtime Hacks to Sleep Like a Dream
Getting enough sleep becomes trickier as we age but it’s just as important. If you’re ‘battling’ hormonal changes, hot flushes and rising cortisol levels can make restful nights feel out of reach. The good news? A simple bedtime routine can help. Here’s how:
1. Stick to a routine
Consistency is key. Dedicate an hour before bed to relaxing activities, no phones, computers, or TV. Your body will start recognising these cues as “sleep time.”
2. Cleanse & treat your skin
A nighttime skincare ritual not only removes make-up and cleans your skin but also encourages hydrating, repairing and nourishing ingredients from your products to work most effectively while you sleep.

Our nighttime favourites:
- Essential Miracle Cleansing Jelly - cleanses and leaves your skin hydrated and comfortable.
- Nurturing Night Balm – dry, tight skin becomes supple and comforted. Massage into your skin for overnight nurturing hug.
- Repairing Nourishing Mask – apply 10 minutes before bed. It works while you sleep, to reveal supple, bouncy skin.
- Rehydrating Concentrate – after the instant burst of hydration, your skin is drip fed by our moisturising complex over the next 8 hours. Pair with Repairing Nourishing Mask for our 4 Sleeps to Fab Skin method and see the magic happen!
3. Enjoy a relaxing bath
Warm water with calming oils like lavender or rose soothes your body and mind. Follow with Nourishing Hydrating Balm for extra self-care and skin comfort without oiliness.

4. Set up a sleep-friendly bedroom
Keep your room cool, ventilated and device free. Soft lamps, a book, or gentle music helps signal your body it’s bedtime. Spritz your sheets with Tranquility Linen & Home Mist for a calming scent.
5. Prepare for tomorrow
Lay out your clothes, shoes and accessories. It’s a small step that reduces stress and boosts confidence in the morning.
6. Mindful self-care
Take time to massage your skincare into your skin. The reason is twofold. Firstly, your skincare works better from within your skin, it’s works less sitting on the surface. Secondly, take time to reflect on your day, or practice deep breathing. Small moments of self-care like this can calm your mind and body.
7. Read & drift off
Slip into bed, read a few pages and let your mind relax. Wake up feeling refreshed, radiant and ready to embrace your day.
