Protecting against UVA & UVB rays
This is broad spectrum protection. UVA are the rays that age your skin and UVB the rays that burn your skin. It's important that your chosen daily SPF is broad spectrum. Look for a logo (UVA in a circle) or it carries a high star rating. Unless stated on the pack that the SPF in your moisturiser or foundation is not broad spectrum. This means that your protected from the burning rays but not the skin ageing rays too. Not an ideal scenario if you’ve worked the majority of your adult life looking after your skin.
How to use a daily SPF in your skincare routine
Nobody wants that extra layer of SPF to be a layer too much. Leaving your skin feeling tacky with a white residue. This is why we have formulated our daily SPF to be an ultra-light fluid. It transforms into an invisible veil, with no oily or white residue. You won’t know you’re wearing it.

Our Daily DNA Defence SPF30 will give you more than an SPF. It also protects your skin from radiation created by smart technology – blue light. This is why I wear this product when I’m in my office or in front of my computer screen. Blue light from technology (computers, TV’s, smart phones and tablets) is recognised as being one of the leading causes of skin ageing. It stimulates stress in our cells (reactive oxidative stress) and it causes pigmentation marks and other visible signs of ageing.
